Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact Byron or Phil directly if your question isn’t answered below.

What age is the Junior Academy suitable for?

The Junior Academy is designed for junior golfers of all abilities, generally from around 7 years onwards. Whether your child is completely new to golf or already has some experience, the sessions are structured to help them develop skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.

Does my child need to have played golf before?

No. The Junior Academy is perfect for beginners as well as juniors who have started playing and want to improve. We group children appropriately so they can learn in a fun and supportive environment.

What should my child wear and do thye need their own clubs?

Comfortable clothing suitable for being both indoors and outdoors, we recommend trainers/golf shoes. Golf clothing is not required. Ideally juniors should bring their own clubs if they have them, but we understand many children are just starting out and we have everything they need for their sessions.

What happens if it rains?

One of the benefits of our Junior Academy at B3 Golf is that the weather doesn’t affect our sessions. We hold the majority of our sessions indoors, meaning juniors can continue learning, developing their skills and enjoying golf all year round in a comfortable environment.
